A Message From Dr. Samuels, Centre for Sleep's Medical Director
As the impact of the global pandemic continues to unfold we find ourselves in truly unprecedented times. The uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 may be causing fear, stress, and anxiety. Being worried about the health of yourself and loved ones, feeling isolated, concerns about work and finances, and not knowing how long this may last, are all contributing to these feelings. Unfortunately, stress and anxiety can have a negative impact on sleep, so it's important that we continue to support our patients at this time.
We understand that many of our patients are not comfortable leaving their homes, or, they may be required to self-isolate, so we have expanded our services to include virtual care. However, many of our patients would still prefer to visit the clinic in person, so we will remain open for those appointments. The health and safety of both our staff and our patients continue to be our top priority so we have taken extra precautions to ensure our clinic is a safe environment, including observing the two-metre social distancing requirements at all times.
For our patients that have an existing appointment and wish to visit the clinic virtually, please contact us at 403 254 6663 ext 1 to let us know. We will be more than happy to amend your appointment.
For anyone wishing to make a new appointment, as always, doctor referrals are not required. Please book an appointment online and you will be contacted to provide your preference for in-clinic or virtual care.
We are all in this together. And we will get through this together.
