Let's face it: the holidays can be stressful. Sure, it's a wonderful time of year, spending time with friends and family, attending endless holiday parties, and enjoying all of the delicious festive food. However, trying to manage it all on top of shopping, baking, work deadlines, and preparing for company, or travel, can be very stressful and can have a substantial impact on your sleep. The National Sleep Foundation has put together some great tips to help relieve stress and get more sleep this holiday season. Tip number 6 is my personal favourite. Seriously, what's better than curling up on the couch in front of a crackling fire and taking a nap in the afternoon under your favourite blanket? Nothing! Nothing is better :)
